Ananda Tours – Gourmet Food & Wine Tour
From $250

Join in for a mouthwatering adventure like no other!

Indulge in succulent fresh oysters, Waiheke’s finest olive oil, and a delectable array of locally-produced specialty foods, all perfectly paired with wines from some of the island’s top boutique vineyards.

You guide will also keep you entertained with lively commentary and fascinating tidbits about the island’s history and culinary scene.

At each of the three vineyards you’ll visit, prepare to fuel your taste buds with a range of gourmet treats carefully curated to complement their exquisite wines. You will be able to savour plump oysters straight from Te Matuku Bay, drizzling rich Waiheke olive oil over artisan cheeses, and splurge in sweet Waiheke honey—all while surrounded by stunning vineyard scenery.

After your vineyard hopping extravaganza, head to a fourth vineyard for a sumptuous platter lunch featuring a mouthwatering selection of meats, cheeses, bread, dips, and veggies. And don’t worry, dietary needs are fully catered for!

Feeling satisfied and content, you’ll have the option to be taken back to your accommodation or to catch the ferry back to Auckland. Or, if you’re not quite ready to say goodbye to the island vibes, hop off in Oneroa Village and make your own way back whenever you please. It’s the perfect ending to a day filled with delicious delights and fun times!

Pick Ups & Departures

Pick ups available from Waiheke Island accommodation. Contact one of the team members to arrange a pick up time.

Ananda Tours does not pick up from any Auckland hotels or accommodation as they are only based on Waiheke Island.
The ferry company is not owned or operated by Ananda Tours, therefore they cannot guarantee sailing times or a seat on a particular sailing. Ananda Tours does not take any responsibility for your onward travel plans if you are unable to board a particular ferry sailing departing the Island so if you need to be back on the mainland at a particular time, Ananda Tours recommends you call to discuss the best option for you. We may recommend a private tour rather than the shared group tour as this way they have more control over the time we return back to Matiatia Wharf. Wait times for the ferry can vary daily and there are sometimes ferry cancellations and boats that reach capacity so Ananda Tours suggests departing the Island an extra hour earlier than the ferry you need to be on, Just to be safe.
