Leaving Auckland behind, you head north, traveling through picturesque coastal countryside and over mountain ranges that offer breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, you’ll pass several farms and their animals. You’ll make a stop in Whangarei for a quick break and take the opportunity to visit the stunning Whangarei Falls, a true natural highlight.

As you continue your journey north, the breathtaking scenery unfolds, with your guide sharing fascinating stories and insights about the area. You’ll soon arrive at the stunning Tutukaka Coast, where the rugged coastline and pristine white sand beaches will leave you in awe. Your next stop is Tutukaka Marina, your departure point for the upcoming cruise. Before checking in, you’ll have a bit of free time to explore and enjoy the charm of this picturesque village.

Embark on a wonderful cruise as you set sail 22 kilometers off the coast to the protected Poor Knights Islands. Along the way, you’ll share insights about the region’s natural beauty and wildlife, while keeping an eye out for the diverse marine life that makes this area so renowned, including dolphins, whales, orca, game fish, and ocean birds. Upon arriving at the Poor Knights, you’ll explore the islands, archways, and caves, delving into their fascinating history before settling in a sheltered area to continue our adventure. While anchored, you can choose how to spend your time—whether it’s snorkelling with provided equipment, gazing through the glass-bottom boards to observe the marine life, or simply relaxing on the boat with a bite to eat. For those who are keen divers, there’s the option to upgrade to a dive experience (additional cost).

After a day spent in paradise, it’s time to begin your journey south. But don’t worry, your adventure isn’t over yet! You’ll make a fully guided return trip to Auckland, complete with hidden stops and more surprises along the way.

While all safety precautions are taken it is the participants responsibly to ensure they have brought with them appropriate clothing and have the appropriate fitness/ skill level for each tour. Passengers must never accept luggage or parcels on behalf of someone.rnCheeky Kiwi Travel will not be responsible or liable for any loss or inconvenience if a passenger is refused travel under any of these circumstances.rnIMAGE USE/PRIVACYrnrnThe passenger acknowledges and gives consent for Cheeky Kiwi Travel/Cheeky Kiwi Travel by itself or through an agent to take photographs, audio or video recordings, or other forms of recordings that capture the passenger’s image, likeness, voice, performance or all of these (“Images”) during the course of this activity / tour. The passenger acknowledges and gives consent for Cheeky Kiwi Travel to receive and use Images of the passenger from other.rnCheeky Kiwi Travel may use Images for marketing and promoting its services. The ways in which the Images will be used for marketing purposes include, but are not limited to, incorporating the Images in print, broadcast, internet media, direct marketing channels, downloadable content and applications, and all other media, platform or technology now known or to be developed for distribution around the world. The Images may be altered, modified, changed, combined or incorporated into other works.rnThe passenger has a right to request access to the passenger’s Images and to correction of those Images to ensure they are complete and not misleading. However, the passenger acknowledges that if the Images have been incorporated into marketing materials, it may not be reasonably practicable for Cheeky Kiwi Travel to make any changes to the Images. The passenger authorizes Cheeky Kiwi Travel to refuse the request to correction in such circumstances.rn
