You will soar high above the mountains, lakes, and rivers that contribute to the unique terroir of Central Otago, home to some of the world’s most renowned wines.
Over The Top will handpick a selection of award-winning vineyards in iconic locations like Gibbston Valley, Bannockburn, and Dunstan, ensuring you get a taste of the very best this region has to offer. With two stops for wine tastings and an additional landing for a tasting paired with a leisurely lunch at a top-rated cellar door restaurant, your wine adventure is guaranteed to be nothing short of spectacular.

Arrive at Over The Top Helicopters and undergo a briefing of your trip.
Take off and soar above the Otago region overlooking beautiful natural sights.
Your tour provider will pick a handful of award winning vineyards for wine.
Jump back on the helicopter for one last tasting and a landing combination paired with a beautiful lunch at a top rated cellar door restaurant.
Either self-drive to the departure lounge at the Queenstown airport where there is ample complimentary parking and aim to be there 20 minutes prior to lift off. Alternatively, you can arrange a pick up from your Queenstown accommodation 30 minutes prior to lift off.
• Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair
• All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking
• Subject to favourable weather conditions. If we are unable to fly due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative flight or full refund
• Minimum passenger numbers apply for Shared flights
• There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements on shared flights (Minimum 4 passengers). In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
